Alternate fair routes

CANFIELD

The Ohio State Highway Patrol is urging motorists to be patient and take recommended routes to the Canfield Fair.

Construction has limited lanes on state Route 11 near the U.S. 224 Canfield and Boardman exits, and the state patrol will have troopers at those exits to guide motorists, said Lt. Chris Heverly of the state patrol.

Recommended routes:

Use Raccoon Road to Leffingwell Road, instead of Fairground Boulevard.

Take state Route 11 south to mile marker 27 and get off at state Route 46 exit, instead of U.S. Route 224 exit.

Drive on Western Reserve to get to state Route 46, instead of driving along U.S. Route 224.
