Youngstown tour bus towed from Pittsburgh casino
YOUNGSTOWN
A tour bus from here was towed from Rivers Casino in Pittsburgh after an inspection by Pittsburgh police, according to Pittsburgh TV station KDKA.
The Fab Limousines bus was towed after inspectors found brake and driveshaft problems, kdka.com reported. The inspection was done just after the bus dropped off passengers at North Shore casino. The bus driver phoned Fab Limousine headquarters to dispatch another bus before passengers reboarded after gambling at the casino, KDKA reported.
The bus was carrying a valid Ohio State Highway Patrol inspection sticker that expires next year, and was inspected in a similar spot inspection by Pennsylvania State police at the Meadows casino last week.
Company president Mark Bagnoli told KDKA that a brake slack adjuster identified during that inspection as needing repair was repaired, but apparently turned out to be faulty. Still, Bagnoli questioned the need to tow the bus rather than allow it to be repaired.
