Wedding date of Doreen Young, Walter Holtz is set

John and Marguerite Young announce the engagement of their daughter, Doreen Young, all of Poland, and Steven Holtz, son of Walter and Rosemary Holtz, all of North Olmsted, Ohio.

The couple have planned a wedding for 2 p.m. Oct. 9 at St. Columba Cathedral in Youngstown in the presence of invited guests. Invitations will also be sent for a reception that evening at The Lake Club.

The bride-to-be graduated from Notre Dame College in Cleveland with an undergraduate degree in early childhood education. She earned a master’s degree in administration from Ashland University. She is employed as a first-grade teacher in Columbiana Exempted Village School District.

The future groom is employed by Allied-Gator in Struthers.
