Urban League plans anniversary dinner

“Honoring Tradition — Building Our Future” is the theme for the 80th anniversary dinner to be sponsored by Greater Warren-Youngstown Urban League Thursday at the MetroPlex Conference Center, 4210 Belmont Ave. A reception at 6 p.m. will be followed by dinner at 7.

The keynote speaker will be U.S. Rep. James E. Clyburn, D-S.C., majority whip in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Clyburn is a trusted adviser to President Obama.
