MARYSVILLE, Ohio

A prosecutor says an Ohio dairy-farm worker accused of abusing cows in an undercover video is expected to enter a guilty plea in the case.

Marysville City Law Director Tim Aslaner tells The Columbus Dispatch that Billy Joe Gregg Jr., 25, is expected to plead guilty Sept. 24.

Gregg, of Delaware, Ohio, was charged in May with 12 misdemeanor counts of animal cruelty.

An animal-welfare group says video it recorded for an undercover investigation showed Gregg and others beating cows with crowbars and poking them with pitchforks at Conklin Dairy Farms Inc. in Plain City in central Ohio.
