Aug. 8
Arson: Someone ignited a bag of feces on a porch in the 3100 block of Dobbins Road, causing $150 damage.
Criminal mischief: Police detained but did not charge juveniles who reportedly placed toilet paper on a vehicle in the 3100 block of Dobbins Road.
Aug. 10
Arrest: A traffic stop near U.S. Route 224 and Struthers Road led to the arrest of 22-year-old Charles L. Semple IV, 9955 Delray St., New Middletown, on a misdemeanor charge of having a weapon while intoxicated. Semple had a handgun with five rounds, a report said.
Aug. 19
Harassment: A Shawbutte Drive woman filed a report alleging harassment.
Harassment: A Clyde Street man reported having been harassed.
Aug. 20
Arrest: A traffic stop on state Route 170 led to the arrest of 30-year-old William B. Woods, 531 W. Como St., Struthers, who was cited on a charge of driving under suspension and wanted on a warrant from Columbiana County.
Criminal damaging: Two windows were damaged at a home in the 8400 block of Chesterton Drive.
