Help improve Mosquito lake's nature trail Sept. 25

The US Army Corps of Engineers will host National Public Lands day at Mosquito Creek Lake on Sept. 25.

This year’s theme is trail enhancement and the focus will be improvements to the Lakeview Nature Trail involving trimming brush, spreading gravel, installing interpretive signs, and litter pick-up.

At 10 a.m. Sept. 25 there will be a meeting at the Lakeview Recreation Area to register and organize the day’s events (call the office for directions). The work day will last approximately 3 hours and will be followed by a picnic at the Lakeview Shelter. Pre-registration is encouraged but not required.
