“The Brementown Musicians,SDRq directed by Terri Wilkes, will be performed by Youngstown Playhouse Youth Theatre at Youngstown Playhouse, 300 Playhouse Lane, Youngstown. Auditions will be at 4:30 p.m. today. Need males and females age 10 and up and adults of all ages. Actors do not need to sing or play musical instruments but must be able to stomp their feet and clap their hands. Auditioners should bring a wallet-size photo and will be asked to read from the script. Rehearsals will be from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Performances are Oct. 2, 3, 9 and 10 in the Moyer room. 330-788-8739.

SINGERS

Salem Youth Chorus is accepting auditions for the 2010-11 season. Teens 14-19 are eligible. Weekly rehearsals will take place alternately in Boardman and Salem. The chorus has sung in Williamsburg, Va.; Washington, D.C.; New York City and cathedrals in Ireland, Wales and England. This is an accelerated, “honors”-level ensemble and is intended for those considering a career in music as a teacher or performer.
