Mass. senator set to release memoir in ’11
NEW YORK
Sen. Scott Brown, the Massachusetts Republican who pulled off one of the biggest upsets in recent years by winning the seat once held by Sen. Edward Kennedy, has a book deal.
HarperCollins announced it will publish Brown’s memoir, currently untitled, in early 2011.
Financial terms were not disclosed, but HarperCollins noted that Brown’s contract will be subject to review by the Senate Ethics Committee.
Brown was represented by Washington attorney Robert Barnett, whose many clients have included Kennedy, the liberal icon who died last summer after more than 40 years in office.
