This weekend: The Trumbull County native, driving in the No. 36 Chevrolet for Tommy Baldwin Racing, qualified seventh on Saturday for today’s Amp Energy Juice 500 at Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway. His speed was 183.885.

Season to date: Blaney remains in 38th place in the NASCAR Sprint Cup standings, with 1,235 points. He’s just two points behind Casey Mears.
