YOUNGSTOWN
The Shop in the Gardens at Fellows Riverside Gardens in Mill Creek Park announces a holiday open house weekend from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Nov. 7.
The shop will be decked out in holiday finery as it displays unique gifts for family and friends. The shop is noted for its home decor, seasonal tabletop items, unique jewelry, handbags and scarves, as well as garden, nature items and indoor flowering bulbs for forcing.
The 2011 Mill Creek MetroParks calendar and holiday cards with photos by local photographer Scott Lanz also will be available.
This year’s collectible park ornament features a burgundy illustration of the gazebo at the garden.
During the holiday open house, all purchases of Thanksgiving and Christmas merchandise are 20 percent off.
As always, purchases made in the shop help to support the gardens and the park.
