Youngstown flag football league crowns fall champions

The Youngstown Youth Flag Football Association ended its most successful fall season to date, with more than 475 participants.

There were 51 teams taking part in a two-day single elimination playoff held at Boardman High School to conclude the season.

By keeping the integrity of the league intact and the focus on the kids and their overall experience, the two largest divisions were separated into two categories. This allowed for twice as many champions as well as runners-up, which led to happier players and parents at the end of the day.

With the continued support of the National Football League and Boardman Local Schools, the YYFFA will continue to grow and positively affect kids all across the area.
