Miss Maxwell, Mr. Chizmar set wedding date

The engagement of Rebecca Maxwell, a daughter of Gary and Deborah Maxwell of Clarion, Pa., and Matthew Chizmar of Boardman, is being announced by the future groom.

Parents of the prospective groom are Pete Chizmar of Youngstown and Cheryl Galler of Crown Point, Ind.

Miss Maxwell graduated from Clarion University of Pennsylvania, where she earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in education. She is a teacher with North Clarion School District in Tionesta, Pa.

Mr. Chizmar is a workshop specialist with Mahoning County Board of Developmental Disabilities in Boardman.

Invitations will be issued for the outdoor wedding the couple have planned for 7:30 p.m. July 9, 2011, at the bride’s family estate in Crown, Pa., and for a reception immediately after the ceremony.
