The exchange of nuptial vows took place at 2 p.m. June 19 in the presence of the Rev. Edward Brienz as Lisa Pearson became the bride of Eric Pellegrini. The wedding took place at St. Rose Church and was followed by a reception at Mahoning Country Club.

The daughter of Kevin and Terri Pearson of Girard and son of Vince and Mary Ellen Pellegrini, also of Girard, honeymooned at Secrets Capri in Riviera Maya, Mexico. They live in Austintown.

The bride wore a white satin mermaid-style gown with a sweetheart neckline and chapel train.

Wearing pool blue gowns were Jane Horodyski, honor attendant, and bridesmaids Christine Hulvalchik; Jessica Stephen; Kristen Placer; Lacey Pearson, the bride’s cousin; and Heather Belgin, a sister of the groom.

Vince Pellegrini was best man for his brother, and groomsmen were Kris Doran, Brian Whan, Josh Rihs, and the bride’s brothers, Kyle Pearson and Brian Pearson. The groom’s nephew, Joshua Belgin, was ring bearer.

The bride graduated from Ohio University with a bachelor’s degree in hearing, speech and language sciences, and from the University of Akron with a master’s in speech-language pathology. She is a speech-language pathologist with Gold Therapy Services in Niles.

The groom is a social studies teacher with Summit Academy in Youngstown. He earned a bachelor’s degree in history from Westminster College and a master’s in special education from Youngstown State University.
