Fellowship welcomes new pastor

Staff report

Members of Cross Point Bible Fellowship, 504 Youngstown-Kingsville Road (Route 193), recently called Jason Cashell as the new pastor. He replaces Brian Main, who stepped down to finish preparations to go Thailand as a teaching missionary.

Cashell is a graduate of Boyce Bible College with a bachelor’s degree in missions, evangelism and church growth. He obtained a master’s degree in biblical counseling from Southern Seminary.

Cashell moved to Vienna with his wife, Casey, and two sons. She is a trained women’s and children’s counselor, having earned a bachelor’s degree in biblical counseling. She served as an orphan advocate while living in Louisville, Ky.

Pastor and Mrs. Cashell plan to make marriage classes and counseling available to those who wish to retool or strengthen their marriages.

The fellowship meets at 10:30 a.m. Sundays. For more information, visit the website at www.crosspointbible.net or call the church, 330-394-1694.
