Angela Dawn Morris and Nicholas Thomas Lam were united in marriage in a 2:30 p.m. ceremony Aug. 28 at Stambaugh Auditorium, in a ceremony performed by Kevin L. Reid.

The couple received well-wishers at a reception at St. Mary’s Assumption Social Center.

After honeymooning in Jamaica, the newlyweds live in Deerfield.

The bride, a daughter of Janet Morris of Deerfield and William Morris, also of Deerfield, is a secretary for Children’s Hospital in Kent. She graduated from Northcoast Medical Training Academy in Kent with a degree in medical assisting.

The groom, a son of Valerie Schwab of Boardman and Christopher Lam of Diamond, graduated from Kent State University Trumbull Campus. He works as a mechanical engineer for Spartan Scientific in Boardman.

Attired in black gowns were the bride’s sister, Brandi Morris, her maid of honor; and bridesmaids, Stacy Payne; Danielle Buzek; Michelle Phillips; Kristy Richards; Sarah Precurato; Amanda Gray, cousin of the bride; and Brandy Sutcliffe, sister of the groom. Payton Sut- cliffe, the groom’s niece, served as flower girl.

Best man was Brian Revak, and groomsmen were Michael Phillips; David Brown; Josh Massrock; Nick Dean; Joe Sut- cliffe, brother-in-law of the groom; and Reid Amey and Christopher Lam, brothers of the groom. Participating as ring bearer was Jimmy Kollar.
