Rotary flips for fundraising: Struthers Rotary will be having its 55th annual pancake-and-sausage breakfast from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 7 at the Struthers High School cafeteria, 111 Euclid Ave. Since 1983, proceeds from the breakfast have provided college scholarships to local students. In that time, more than $70,000 has been awarded to graduating seniors. Tickets for the breakfast can be bought from any Struthers Rotary member or at the door. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for children under 12. Those working hard to make the breakfast possible are, from left, Anthony Quahliero; Tom Baringer, scholarship chairman; Paul Paris, a charter member who’s been flipping pancakes for more than 50 years; Wendy Noble, pancake chairwoman; and Bryan Higgins, president.
