Hearing in Ponzi scheme case delayed a week


YOUNGSTOWN

A plea hearing and arraignment for Kevin L. Harris of Warren, the man accused of running a $20 million Ponzi scheme out of an office on Parkman Road Northwest in Warren, has been moved back six days to 2 p.m. next Wednesday.

Harris faces charges of money laundering and wire fraud and a penalty of 30 years in prison if convicted.

The hearing will be before Magistrate Judge George Limbert in U.S. District Court here.

The hearing was moved back at the request of Harris’ attorney, Gilbert Rucker III of Warren.
