Larissa Santangelo made eight kills and four blocks in the Springfield High volleyball team’s Division III tournament loss to top-seeded Waterloo on Tuesday at Salem High.
Carly Cunningham scored 10 points with two aces as the Tigers (17-7) lost by scores of 26-24, 27-25 and 25-20. Jessica Evan scored five points with an ace and made 15 assists. Kelsey Larson also scored five points.
Catherine Evan made five kills and three blocks while Brooke Schrieber made six kills.

The fourth-seeded Indians (16-9) advance to play Waterloo (24-1) in the district final on Thursday at 6 p.m.
Bryanna Jay made 17 kills and three blocks while Hayley Spalla had 20 assists, 12 points and three aces. Mary Burt made 12 digs while Callie Jay made six Kills and scored five points. Morgan Walters made six kills and eight digs.

LISBON
Cassidy Stoddard scored 11 points and made 19 assists for the second-seeded Clippers (16-7) at Lisbon High.
Jordan Stoddard scored 10 points with three aces and made seven kills while Hayley Goist contributed 25 digs and three aces. Meredith Tirpak made 13 kills and 11 blocks.
For the fourth-seeded Red Devils (19-7), Alilyson Hajnosz made 11 assists and 40 sets while Sami Heverly scored 17 points. Heather Darocha made five kills and Sarah Cash had 17 blocks.
The Clippers advance to play top-seeded Wellsville on Thursday at 7 p.m.

Noelle Amato led the Tigers (18-7) by scoring 15 points with four aces and making 20 assists. Sarah Skinner had nine points and two blocks while McKenna Pierson contributed nine assists, eight kills and two blocks. Shawntae Dillard had nine points and 11 kills.
For the third-seeded Bluejays (15-9), Maddie Griffiths made 49 sets and 17 assists while Erica Hughes made 14 kills. Paije Kiraly made seven blocks while Rachael O’Bradovich scored 19 points with two aces.
