Woman run over in domestic dispute on South Side

YOUNGSTOWN — A city woman is recovering after being run down with a car during a domestic dispute on the city’s South Side.

The 21-year-old Dogwood Lane woman told police she was with her boyfriend at a house on Hilton Avenue early Monday morning when the mother of one of the man’s children came to the address and began arguing with the man.

The victim told police the other woman eventually got into a car and ran her down while she was standing on the home’s front lawn. She said the woman also backed over her before she passed out from her injuries.

The victim was taken to St. Elizabeth Health Center for treatment. There was no word today on her injuries.
