Tea hosted by Warren Junior Women

Perfect setting: The Upton House, 380 Mahoning Ave., Warren, was the setting recently for an afternoon tea hosted by the GFWC/Warren Junior Women’s League Home Life Committee in conjunction with a meeting and a talk on “Strong Bones — Strong Body” by Shirley Lisk, a health educator from St. Joe’s at the Eastwood Mall, who presented facts about osteoporosis and how it is treated. Among the hostesses for the tea (but not pictured) were committee members Darlene Fealko, Melanie Gemmell, Vanessa Koper and Pam Vines. To raise funds for the National Osteoporosis Foundation, committee members crafted and sold pearl bracelets.
