Kravitz deli opens at Poland Library
POLAND — After 71 years in the Mahoning Valley, a local deli is expanding and taking its corned beef to a new counter.
Kravitz Delicatessen will have a ribbon-cutting ceremony for its new café at Poland Library, 311 S. Main St., at 10 a.m. Wednesday. The location was formerly occupied by Rosetta Stone’s Chapters café, which closed in August, shortly after the downtown Rosetta Stone restaurant shut down.
“It was a real opportunity presented to us. We’d been looking to do something on the other side of town,” said owner Jack Kravitz.
The original Kravitz deli will remain on Belmont Avenue in Liberty.
