Flu shots available Wednesday, Thursday at Mahoning Co. sites


The Mahoning County District Board of Health will be administering flu shots for anyone 6 months of age and older at a cost of $25.

The high-dose flu vaccine also is available for individuals 65 years of age and older. No appointment is necessary.

People on traditional Medicare and on Medicaid must bring their cards so the cost of the shot can be billed.

The times and sites for the clinics are 9 to 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, Berlin Township Building, 15801 Akron-Canfield Road, Berlin Center; 12:30 to 3 p.m., Wednesday, Lake Milton Volunteer Fire Station, 15980 Milton Ave., Lake Milton; and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Thursday, Sebring Community Action, 305 N. 15th St., Sebring.
