Zombies are the new vampires — and they’re wreaking havoc on “Dead Set.” It’s a dark, five-part satire of reality TV that imagines an attack of flesh-eaters on the contestants of “Big Brother,” who are trapped in their studio house. Singers invited for ‘Messiah’ chorus

Chorus rehearsals for Handel’s “Messiah” will be at 7:30 p.m. each Monday through November at Blessed Sacrament Church, Reeves Road NE. John W. Kurtz, director of music at Living Lord Lutheran Church, Howland, will direct the performance, which will be at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. Dec. 5. Vocalists include Corinne Morini, Karen Emmett and Leonard Suzelis. They will be accompanied by orchestra and harpsichord. All area singers are invited to participate. There are no tryouts. Scores will be available for purchase.
