Baker’s touchdowns lead JFK win

Bryce Baker rushed for a touchdown and passed for another as the Warren JFK High football team defeated Western Reserve Academy, 19-13, on Saturday.

Baker’s 11-yard scoring toss to Carl Broadbent put the Eagles ahead 7-0 in the first quarter. A few minutes later, they doubled the advantage when Baker scored on a 3-yard run.

In the third quarter, Eric Bofenkamp kicked a 32-yard field goal.

Baker completed 13 of 21 passes for 154 yards. Mark Fordeley caught four of them for 44 yards and Evan McBride had three receptions for 50 yards.
