Trimbles mark anniversary at Mass and dinner

In celebration of their 60th wedding anniversary, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Trimble of Struthers attended a Mass at St. Nicholas Church, where they received a special blessing.

The ceremony took place on Oct. 9 and was followed by a family dinner at Nicolinni’s Ristorante II in Boardman.

Hosts for the dinner were their children, Katherine Trimble of Struthers, Linda and Michael Eperjesi of Poland, and Frank Trimble of Wilmington, N.C. The couple also have a granddaughter, Melissa Eperjesi.

Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church in Lowellville was the setting on Oct. 7, 1950, as Mr. Trimble and the former Marian Rossi were united in marriage. They are members of St. Nicholas Church and the Altar and Rosary Society at the church.

Mrs. Trimble was employed 17 years at Dollar General in Struthers and retired in 1996 as assistant manager.

Mr. Trimble served with the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a plant operator and lab technician for 21 years with Mahoning County Sanitary Engineering Department, Boardman, prior to retiring in 1992.
