10 Race to Top districts

Ten Mahoning Valley school districts received grant funding through the federal Race to the Top initiative. The districts and the amounts received, which will be distributed evenly over four years:

Columbiana Exempted Village, $100,000.

Crestview, $106,583.

Leetonia Exempted Village, $100,000.

Lisbon Exempted Village, $124,222.

Canfield, $100,000.

Jackson-Milton, $100,000.

Sebring, $100,000.

Western Reserve, $100,000.

Bloomfield-Mespo, $268,230.

Brookfield, $189,477
