Carbones feted at reception for anniversary

Family members invited guests to a reception planned in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Carbone of Struthers on the occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary.

Hosts for the 6 p.m. Oct. 23 celebration at Holiday Inn South in Boardman were Michelle and George Horodnic of Poland; Carolyn and Dave Rivello of East Rochester, N.Y.; Michael and Karen Carbone of Lewisville, N.C.; and the couple’s grandson, Grayson Carbone.

St. Nicholas Church was the setting on Oct. 22, 1960, as Mr. Carbone and the former Marilyn Semonza exchanged marriage vows. They are members of Highway Tabernacle.

Mr. Carbone retired in 2001 from Hynes Industries in Youngstown, where he was a machinist.

Mrs. Carbone is a homemaker.
