Calling all Valley men to breakfast event on domestic violence

Tony Porter, co-founder of A Call to Men, a national association of men and women committed to ending domestic violence, will be the keynote speaker for “A Few Good Men Breakfast” from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Avalon Golf and Country Club, 761 Youngstown-Kingsville Road SE.

The Youngstown Chapter of Links Inc. is sponsoring the event, which is open to all men and boys age 8 and older .

Others on the program are Rev. Dr. Louis Macklin II, pastor of Holy Trinity Missionary Baptist Church; Youngstown Councilman Jamael Tito Brown, D-3rd; and Detective Sgt. David Lomax of Youngstown Police Department’s Family Investigative Unit.

A full buffet breakfast will be served. Proper attire is required (no jeans or tennis shoes). Registration is required; call Sojourner House at 330-747-4040.
