vZombie Crawl and Thrill the World, 7 p.m.: Zombies are the new vampires and downtown will be crawling with them. The former event is a bar crawl that begins with a “parade” down West Federal Street. The latter, on Central Square, is an attempt to break the world’s record for dancing to Michael Jackson’s “Thriller.”

“Community Connection” (6:30 a.m. Sunday, WFMJ Channel 21; and 10 a.m. Tuesday on Time Warner Cable community access channel): Metropolitan Baptist Church will celebrate 50 years in the community during October and November. The church’s new pastor, Michael LaMont Miles, will join host Madonna Chism Pinkard to discuss his position, the activities geared toward youth development within the church and the church anniversary dinner.

Next, Kevin Ivery, Shawn Williams and Gary McDonald, the Mobile Computer Doctors, will discuss new computer technology.
