The Poland Union PTO got students ready for Friday night football by hosting a tailgate party on Oct. 8.

The theme this year was “Whiteout” so students and families were able to purchase “Poland Union Tailgate Whiteout” T-shirts to get in the spirit of the game, while others sported their own Poland gear.

Students enjoyed face painting, temporary tattoos and pick-up games of football. There was a 50/50 raffle and a Chinese auction with giveaways.

Families got to fill up on Belleria pizza, chips and donated desserts before they went to the game. Following the tailgate party, students and their families walked over to the game to watch the Bulldogs take on the Howland Tigers. The event was organized by Debbie Shurilla and sponsored by the Poland PTO. All proceeds from the event will be used for future PTO events.
