Nuptial vows were exchanged in the presence of the Rev. David Shortt as Katrina Porter and Brandon Massullo were united in marriage at 2 p.m. June 12 at St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church.

A reception at Avalon Inn Ballroom in Warren honored the daughter of Rosemary Heald of Warren and son of Sandra and Alfred Massullo of Austintown.

The couple honeymooned at Montana’s Paws Up Resort and live in Lakewood, Ohio.

Swarovski crystals adorned the bride’s strapless ivory silk satin gown. It featured a chapel train with pleated detailing and a bustle.

Denise Zechman was the honor attendant, and bridesmaids were Michele Porter, the bride’s sister-in-law; Nicholl Massullo, the groom’s sister-in-law; and the bride’s cousins, Jessica Zavarello and Monica Rodriguez. Flower girl was the groom’s niece, Ava Massullo.

The duties of best man were shared by Brock Massullo, the groom’s brother, and Bill Schmidt, and groomsmen were Timothy Porter, the bride’s brother; Daniel Ford; and Jeff Ryznar. Ring bearers were the bride’s nephews, Matthew and Michael Porter.

The bride graduated from Bowling Green State University and earned a master’s degree in social work from Cleveland State University. She is employed by Recovery Resources in Cleveland in forensics with Cuyahoga County Courts.

The groom is a therapist in the emergency room psychiatry unit at Cleveland Clinic. He graduated from the University of Toledo as a therapist with a master’s degree.
