ASSOCIATIONS

American Business Women’s Association, Mill Creek Chapter, will celebrate its 48th anniversary on Nov. 9 at Lucianno’s Banquet Center, Raccoon Road in Austintown. A social will begin at 6 p.m., and a buffet dinner, at 7. Entertainment will be by a trio from the Youngstown State University Jazz Band. Gold Wing Road Riders Association will meet Saturday at Yankee Kitchen, 6635 Market St. Boardman. Supper is at 5 p.m., and the meeting will follow at 6. All are encouraged to dress in costume for Halloween. Be sure to take Rider Bucks because there will be an auction. The rides and events scheduled for November will be announced. CLUBS

Ohio Cultural Alliance will have a dinner meeting at 6 p.m. Nov. 1 at Western Reserve United Methodist Church, 4580 Canfield Road, Canfield. Dr. Dennis Henneman, professor of communication and theater at Youngstown State University, and five of his students will present scenes from William Shakespeare’s works. Shenango Valley Corvette Club will have its annual Christmas dinner and 25th anniversary celebration Dec. 5 at Tiffany’s Banquet Center, 601 Bedford Road SE, Brookfield. A meeting will begin at 5 p.m., and from 5:30-6:30 p.m. there will be a social hour with cash bar and predinner vegetable and cheese trays. At 6:30, a dinner buffet will be served and the anniversary program and annual awards will begin. Everyone is asked to take SVCC memorabilia, and nonperishable items to be donated to the Goodfellows Food Pantry. Reservations and payment must be received by Nov. 10. Warren Women’s Connection will have a “Country Fair, Going, Going, Gone,” luncheon and meeting at 11:30 a.m. Nov. 8 at DiLucia’s Banquet Room, 2610 Elm Road NE, Warren. Dublin Grange will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday with Michelle Combis in charge. The program will be an update on the new currency and a Halloween parade by the juniors.

Niles Chapter of the American Sewing Guild has scheduled a field trip for Southington So-Sews for Thursday to the Kent State University Fashion Museum. SUPPORT GROUPS
