Foundation grant helps Beatitude House

YOUNGSTOWN — A grant from the John F. and Loretta A. Hynes Foundation will help the Beatitude House improve its apartment buildings on Fifth and Lora avenues on the city’s North Side.

The Beatitude House helps disadvantaged women and children in the Mahoning Valley and will use the $7,500 payment of a two-year grant from the foundation for renovations such as repair of the plumbing system and installation of vinyl siding.
