Daughters of Isis court plan Commandress Ball

Al Asir Court 200, Daughters of Isis, will host its 22nd annual Commandress Ball at 7 p.m. Oct. 30 at the MetroPlex Hotel and Conference Center, 1620 Motor Inn Drive.

Honored at the event will be Illustrious Commandress Debra Coney of Liberty.

Employed by Humility of Mary at St. Joseph Health Center in Warren as a nurse in surgery, Coney is a member of St. Andrewes AME Church and a past worthy matron of Covenant Chapter 48 Order of Eastern Star, Prince Hall Affiliate. Her husband is Marshall B. Coney Jr.

The Daughters of Isis is a benevolent, charitable and fraternal organization. Founded in 1910, its membership is dedicated to the principles of fostering civic, economic and educational development programs throughout the world.
