South Range student in juvenile justice center for making alleged threats

GREENFORD — A 15-year-old South Range High School student remains in the Mahoning County Juvenile Justice Center after allegedly composing a list of students he intended to harm.

The sophomore was arrested Monday and faces three counts of aggravated menacing, each a misdemeanor, and one county of making terroristic threats, which is a felony, Beaver township police said.

The list was not specifically titled “hit list,” but it did have 26 names on it, said Superintendent Dennis Dunham.
