Dinner fundraiser will aid young father

A spaghetti dinner fundraiser is scheduled for Barry Adkins Jr., a 22-year-old father who is undergoing treatment for cancer. The proceeds will help defray the medical expenses.

The dinner will take place from 2-7 p.m. Saturday at Captain Kelly’s Bar and Grill, 4248 N. River Road NE.

Also featured will be a 50-50 raffle and a basket raffle. Tickets are $7 for adults and $4 for children 12 and under.
