A honeymoon trip to the Bahamas followed the Aug. 28 wedding of Tracy Wyant Skripac and Steven Kastenhuber, both of Salem. The Rev. Lawrence Bowald officiated as the couple exchanged vows during a 1:30 p.m. ceremony at Canfield Presbyterian Church, and a dinner reception followed at A La Cart Catering.

The bride, a daughter of Joe and Dorothy Granchie of Boardman, and the groom, a son of Emma Kastenhuber of Salem and the late Walter Kastenhuber, live in Canfield.

Kristen Wyant, the bride’s niece, served as honor attendant, and flower girls were Jessica and Jacilyn Wilk, also nieces of the bride.

The duties of best man were performed by the groom’s son, Luke Kastenhuber. Ring bearer was the bride’s son, Evan Skripac, and ushers were Brandon Wyant, her nephew, and Jimmy Armeni.

Also participating were Sherry Goddard, Danielle Goddard, Laura Miller, Gregory Sprouse and Natalie Sprouse.

The bride earned a master’s degree in adult health nursing from Kent State University, and certifications in advanced oncology and hospice-palliative nursing. She is an education project manager for the Oncology Nursing Society, based in Pittsburgh, and an affiliate nursing faculty for Indiana Wesleyan University’s Cleveland campus.

The groom graduated from Ohio State University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a major in accounting. He is a CPA and the owner/director of the Visiting Angels, a homecare agency serving Portage and Geauga counties.
