Mooney moves into top spot in OHSAA football ratings

Cardinal Mooney’s 23-6 win over Akron St. Vincent-St. Mary pushed the Cardinals to the top of the OHSAA football computer ratings in Division III.

The Cardinals (5-2) made the biggest jump of area schools from last week’s ratings, from No. 4 to No. 1, in Region 9.

Warren Harding’s 20-6 victory over Massillon last weekend pushed the Raiders to the brink of playoff contention in Division I.
