Nuptial vows were exchanged at 5 p.m. June 12 as Victoria Rachel Ohlin and Nathan Scott Alexander were united in marriage by the Rev. Duane Angel. The wedding took place at the First Congregational Church in Akron, and a reception followed at Roses Run Country Club in Stow.

After a wedding trip to Walt Disney World in Florida, the couple are living in Nashville and will return to the Akron area in November.

Parents of the bride are Jeff and Susan Kaiser of Akron and Joseph D. Ohlin of Warren. The groom’s parents are Larry and Susan Alexander of Stow.

The bride’s strapless ivory satin sheath gown featured a beaded bodice, a corset back and a chapel train.

Laura Keller, the honor attendant, wore a light pink gown, as did the bridesmaids, Katie Ardner, Elizabeth Kovac, Megan Vogias and Andrea Haylett.

Serving as best man was Ryan Walukonis, and groomsmen were Ben Alexander, a brother of the groom, and Nils Woetzel.

Mrs. Alexander is a resident physician in family practice with Summa Western Reserve Hospital in Cuyahoga Falls. She graduated from Hiram College with a bachelor’s degree in biomedical humanities and from Ohio University College of Medicine.

Mr. Alexander graduated from Baldwin Wallace College with a bachelor’s degree in chemistry. He is a graduate researcher with Vanderbilt University in Nashville, where he is a candidate for a doctorate in chemistry.
