Garrettsville woman reports rape

WARREN — A 22-year-old Garrettsville woman reported that she was raped at gunpoint at about 10:30 p.m. Sunday near the intersection of Paige Avenue and Griswold Street by a man in a car.

The woman said a man in his early 20s picked her up in a red, two-door car. The man wore gloves and a condom and let the woman walk away afterward.

A male juvenile in the front seat of the car watched. The woman refused medical attention and called for her mother to pick her up.
