Wildings mark 50th anniversary at family party

Mr. and Mrs. Richard Wilding of Lowellville observed their 50th wedding anniversary at 4 p.m. on Oct. 9 during a ’50s-themed party with their family in New Middletown.

Hosts for the gathering were their children and their spouses, Jeffrey Wilding of Poland, Mike Wilding of Virginia, Dan and Tracey Zupko of New Middletown and Sam and Barb Zangmeister of Columbus. There are six grandsons in the family.

The former Tina Tondy and Mr. Wilding were united in marriage on Oct. 8, 1960, at Berean Baptist Church in Youngstown.

Mrs. Wilding, a homemaker, is a retired waitress.

Mr. Wilding served with the U.S. Army and retired in 1995 from Superior Beverage in Austintown, where he was a driver.
