Region’s future

Residents of Youngstown and Salem will have additional opportunities to express their vision for the future of the region at two Power of 32 Community Conversations this week.

The first will be at 7 p.m. Monday at the First Unitarian Universalist Church, 1105 Elm St., Youngstown.

The second is scheduled for 5 p.m. Tuesday at the Salem Community Center, 1098 N. Ellsworth Ave.

“It is important that this corner of the Power of 32 region be well-represented when the visions of residents throughout the region are collected and priorities identified,” said the Rev. Amariah McIntosh, Power of 32 outreach co-ordinator for Mahoning and Columbiana counties.

Anyone who would like to participate in a community conversation can do so via www.powerof32.org, or by calling the Rev. Mr. McIntosh at 330-743-6438.
