Mother, daughter event at Old North Church

CANFIELD

Old North Church, 7105 Herbert Road, will host a mother and daughter event from 6:30 to 8:45 p.m. Saturday. Featured will be the Secret Keeper Girl Live, The Pajama Party Tour, a show about practical modesty, fashion and beauty designed for girls 8 to 12 and their mothers.

Wines for tasting

YOUNGSTOWN

St. Dominic Church will present a wine-tasting contest from 6 to 9 p.m. Oct. 24 at Mr. Anthony’s, 7440 South Ave. Extension, Boardman.

Wines from local wine makers will be featured. Ray “Boom Boom” Mancini will attend and present his wines. There will also be an auction and a raffle.
