Magans to mark 50th anniversary with their family

YOUNGSTOWN

William and Sandra Magan of Youngstown will celebrate with their family at a 50th anniversary party Oct. 22 at Yankee Kitchen Restaurant in Boardman.

Hosting the evening event and extending invitations are the couple’s children and their spouses: Tracy (John) Spencer of Struthers, Wendy (Kellie) Wright of Leetonia, Jodi Wiseman-Gifford (William) of Canfield, John (Rebecca Novak) Magan of Niles, and Melissa Magan of Boardman. Rounding out the family are the couple’s nine grandchildren.

Mrs. Magan is a homemaker. Mr. Magan retired in 1991 from Stambaugh Thompson’s in Youngstown, where he was a security guard. He also portrayed Santa Claus at the Southern Park Mall for more than 15 years before retiring. He served in the United States Air Force.

Mr. Magan and his bride, the former Sandra Jones, were married Oct. 22, 1960, at St. Andrews Episcopal Church.
