Concert today at Stambaugh will benefit homeless, needy in the Valley

A concert to benefit The Rescue Mission of the Mahoning Valley takes place today at 5 p.m. at Stambaugh Auditorium.

Ron Chick’s All-Star Alumni Band Sweetest Day beenfit concert begins at 5 p.m. at the Fifth Avenue public auditorium.

A lobby reception is planned.

Proceeds from the concert will help the Rescue Mission purchase food, blankets and other supplies for the Mahoning Valley’s homeless and needy population over the winter.
