The YSU football team leads Western Illinois 24-14 at halftime of Saturday night's game at Hanson Field.

WIU QB Matt Barr hit Lito Senatus for a 21-yard TD pass in the opening minutes of the quarter for the game's fourth lead change.

The fifth lead change came minutes later when YSU RB Adaris Bellamy scored from 1 yard out. The Penguins went 80 yards in 13 plays.

Bellamy struck again with 2:23 left in the quarter on a 3-yard run, capping a nine-play, 62-yard drive. The 24 points are the most Western Illinois has allowed in the first half this season.
