The YSU football team leads Western Illinois 31-28 after the third quarter of Saturday's game at Hanson Field.

Trailing 24-14 at halftime, the Leathernecks scored on their first possession of the quarter, with Barr bootlegging to the right for a 3-yard run with 11:23 left in the third.

WIU then retook the lead on a 5-yard TD run by Barr. It was the sixth lead change of the night.

Bellamy made it seven, scoring his career-high third TD from 2 yards out to make it 31-28 with 57 seconds left in the quarter.
