The Poland Union PTO has been busy planning its seventh annual Holiday Shoppe Craft and vendor show.

This year’s event will be Nov. 6 from 9 a.m. 4 p.m. at Poland Seminary High School with all proceeds benefiting the Poland Union Elementary PTO.

The event has grown every year.

“We are anticipating over 80 vendors for this year’s event,” said event chair Paula Heyes. “There will be something for everyone, including a Valley favorite, Lutz’s Greenhouse.”

“One of the things that makes this event so successful is the support from the parents. All classrooms have a theme in which students bring in items and we put together these wonderful baskets to be raffled off,” said Kristie DePascale.

Just some of the themes for this year’s baskets are “Ohio State,” “Games,” “Family Fun” and even be the most popular toy — “Squinkies.”

“I am always so pleased at how this event turns out,” said Poland Union Principal Carmella Smallhoover. “Every year it keeps getting better. People from the community are always commenting on what a nice event it is. We are looking forward to this year being no exception to that.“

If you’re into 50/50 raffles, here’s tip: last year’s raffle winner went home with $1,200.
