Sewing group quilts for relief

Neighbors | Submitted.The sewing group from Prince of Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church made several quilts throughout the year. .The church held a dedication ceremony Sunday and sent the quilts off for use by Lutheran World Relief.
Neighbors | Submitted.Norene Yeropoli, a member of the Prince of Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church's sewing club, arranged the handmade quilts before the dedication ceremony Sunday.The quilts were dedicated and then donated to Lutheran World Relief to be given to those in need.
Prince of Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church dedicated 138 quilts to be used by Lutheran World Relief Sunday.
These quilts were made by the congregation’s sewing group throughout the year. The quilts will be distributed by LWR across the globe wherever there is a need, especially in refugee camps and disaster sites.
The following women cut, sewed or knotted this past year: Audrey Deichert, Barb Cracraft, Grace Burkert, Betty Lou Donachie, Norene Yeropoli, Sarah Stumpo, Florence Rider, Phyllis Forris and Susan Burgeson.
Additional sewers are invited to join and the group accepts clean fabric and yarn at any time.
